Another typhoon is heading to Japan this week, Typhoon Cimaron is forecast to make a landfall on Southern Japan. Areas that are at a great risk of typhoon damage are Kyushu, Shikoku and Honshuu.
Typhoon Cimaron carries risks for damaging winds, storm surge and flooding rainfall. Residents of areas under Typhoon Cimaron’s path is advised to pay attention to local officials and follow any evacuation orders that will be issued if needed.
Typhoon Cimaron is currently tracking to the Northwest and is expected to continue in this direction during the second half of the week according to AccuWeather.
A track over Shikoku and western Honshu is forecast on Thursday and Thursday night prior to the storm entering the Sea of Japan on Friday.
