Heian Shrine Reisai Festival is held annually in Heian Shrine (Kyoto) and is the most important event of the Shrine. This festival is to celebrate the accession ceremony day of Emperor Kanmu, the deity of the shrine, which was held in 781. This festival features different cermonies that includes Japanese music, dances, tea offering and prayer ceremony.
