Also held every Autumn Season, Kemari Festival is an annual event held every 29th of April in Tanzan Jinja Shrine when the gardens are are starting to bloom. Wearing garb clothing from the 7th century, the Shinto priests enter the shrine grounds in a traditional procession. After the procession and some rituals, Kemari is being played. Kemari is a tradional courtly game resembling to hacky-sack with an over-sized ball.
