This year marks 31st Celebrations of the Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festivals, one of the lasrgets fireworks festivals in Western Japan. About 15,000 fireworks will be launched to light up the sky and along the coasts of Moji Ward in Kitakyushu and Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi prefecture. The large and breathtaking fireworks create a beautiful display with different fireworks at night over the Kanmon Strait. Annually, over 1.1 million people go to this event to witness the spectacular firework display.
