Kuroishi Neputa is one of the most lively summer festivals held in Aomori Prefectura that is celebrated each year every 30th of July and 5th of August. The festival includes a line of parade with over 50 giant fan-shaped and ma-figure lantern floats accompanied by Japanese musical band (hayashi).
