One of the biggest Fireworks Festival in Aichi, Prefecture is the Okazaki Fireworks Festival which is held every first Saturday of August. It is held in the Ottawa River bank by the Okazaki Castle area. On that that, 20,000 fireworks light up the sky with different shapes and colors for 2 hours. This old castle town is the place where Shongun Ieyasu Tokugawa was born.
