Held every June 30th to July 2nd of each year, Aizen Festival is one of the oldest summer festival in Japan which started 1,400 years ago. On the first day of the festival which is June 30th, Aizen Hoekago Parade, which is one of the most important featured events during Aizen Festival and Nagoshi-no Harae take place. The festival is held in Aizendo, one of the major temples in Osaka.
