Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival is a 3-day festival held to commemorate the Lord Maeda Toshiie’s entry into Kanazawa castle in 1583. It is also the largest festival held in Kanazawa. This festival features a parade which is the main attraction of the festival where more than 10,000 people are dancing at the streets. You will see Taiko drums, marching samurai warriors, music on Japanese flutes and shamisen, lion dances and more.
