One of the most breathtaking winter illumination events in Japan is the Festival of Lights that takes place in Osaka. Festival of Lights has two main illuminations events which are the following:

  • Midisuji Illumination, recognized as the most illuminated trees in the world on the street, with 4 kilometer long avenue illuminated by yellow and blue LED lights. This is from Ooebashi-Kitazune Intersection to the Hanshin Mae Intersection. 
  • Hikari Renaissance, which is located between the Osaka City Hall and Nakanoshima Park. The highlight of this illumination is the “Wall Tapestry Lighting Show”, which is a projection mapping in front og the Nakanoshima Library.
