Every November 3 (Culture Day) of each year, a breathtaking fire walking ritual takes place in front of the Daigan-ji Temple in Miyajima, Hiroshima. This is what they called the Hi-watari Festival.
NOTE: Public visitors can also participate in the fire walking ceremony on request.
