Kurama Fire Festival or Kurama no Hi Matsuri is one of the most famous fire-based festivals that you can go in Kyoto and also considered an extraordinay one. It is held October 22nd of every year in the mountainous village of Kurama which honors Yuki Shrine and its spirits. This fire festival features a parade with hundreds of people carrying flaming torches which is the main draw of the festival.
