Onomichi Lantern Festival is a world heritage listed town on the Seto Inland Sea in Hiroshima Prefecture made famous in the classic Ozu film Tokyo Story.

This festival features the reproduction of the prosperity of Onomichi and visitors can experience the warmth of Onomichi and the relaxing town atmosphere created by the gentle lights from the lanterns. Alleys and the approach path connecting temples and the green zone in front of the station are all lit up with candles.
