Saiin Kasuga Shrine Festival is an autumn festival for praying for disease-free health and rich harvests sponsored by the Kasuga Shrine Sponsorship Meeting, which is composed of children of the shrine. The Kasuga Festival is held every year on the second Saturday and Sunday of October. It is one of the most lively festivals in Kyoto.
