Organized by the students of Kyoto, the Kyoto Intercollegiate Festa aims at the bonding with the local community as 10% of the population of the city are students and as Kyoto is one of the few “Students Town” in Japan. From the heart of Kyoto, Parades, food and competition can be seen in this Festival.
There will be an opening ceremony which is a grand procession with more than 1000 dancers, marching bands, mikoshi parade and more. Are the many things to see in Kyoto Intercollegiate Festa. Come and visit Kyoto as this year, 2021, is the 17th year of the festival.
