After 56 years, Japan will again be hosting the much-awaited Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games from July 24 – August 9, 2020 and the Paralympic Games from August 25 – September 6 of the same year.
Japan has been an Olympic land since the Summer Games of 1964, which were the first to be staged in Asia. In 2020, the country will host its fourth Games, if the Winter Games of 1972 in Sapporo and of 1998 in Nagano are included.

The said priced will also be available in conjunction with a school programme targeting over one million students across Japan.
- Lastly concessionary tickets for wheelchair-dedicated areas.
How & Where to Buy Tokyo 2020 Olympics Ticket
1. National Olympic Committee of their respective country
People living outside Japan will be able to order their tickets through the National Olympic Committee of their respective country or their authorized ticket seller. Ticket prices and application process will vary for each country however expected ticket prices will most likely be the same price of tickets purchased in Japan.
2. For Residents of Japan
Residents of Japan can register on Tokyo 2020’s online platform in order to obtain a TOKYO 2020 ID. With the said ID they will be able to apply for tickets before they go on general sale.
This coming 2021 Spring those with TOKYO 2020 ID will invited to participate in an online lottery. After the initial tickets are allocated, the remaining tickets will be made available on first-come, first-served basis.
