Wadakura Fountain Park

Just few minutes away from the Tokyo Station, there is a beautiful fountain park which is the Wadakura Fountain Park. It is a small but amazing park located to the east of the Imperial Palace. It was built to commemorate the wedding of the Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko in 1961. Later, it was renovated to also commemorate the wedding of the Crown Prince Naruhito and Princess Masako in 1995. The best time to visit the park is in the evening because the park and the fountains are illuminated.
