October is not just the season of Autumn but also the season of Halloween. This event is widely celebrated across the globe. They prepare parties, parade and other ways to celebrate. You will people in costumes, pumpkins, witches and other scary decorations in fast foods, restaurants, groceries and other places, even in houses. In Japan, there are various events which they also celebrate Halloween.

Here are some of the various events that you must to attend if you visited  on the season of Halloween in Tokyo:

Shibuya’s Halloween celebration is one of the most popular and crowded Halloween events in Tokyo. It is attended by many people wearing their scary, beautiful, bloody and creative costumes. This event is free and welcomes all who wish to join.

The event is located in the famous Shibuya crossing or also known as Shibuya Scramble.

This year it will be held between October 27 and 31, which is October 31 that falls on Wednesday, will be the most crowded one as it the Halloween day.

Every year, Tokyo Disney Resort also celebrates the Halloween. Expect Halloween themed food, merchandise, parades, and Halloween decoration at both parks, Disney Sea and Disney Land.

Their Halloween celebration for this year is from September 10 to October 31. In this whole period, guests are allowed to dress up, unlike the other years that they are only allowed to dress up in 2 weeks period. (Note: It has to be Disney character costume!)

Roponggi Hills Halloween Celebrations started last October 11, 2018 and will continue until October 31, 2018 and this year is their 16th year.

This event’s main feature is their movie-themed parade where everyone who wants to join will wear a movie character costume.
The MAIN PARADE will be on OCTOBER 27, 2018 Saturday. And of course, IT IS FREE!

If you love Cosplay, here’s the event for you!

In Ikebukuro, an event called Halloween Cosplay Festival every Halloween since the year 2014 where people dress like anime, game and manga characters.

This year, it will be held on October 27 (Saturday) and 28 (Sunday) from 10AM until 6PM.

This last event is not in Tokyo but it is a MUST mention Halloween event.

Kawasaki Halloween Celebration is now back this year! It is one of the biggest Halloween event in Japan. The event includes live music performances, Halloween Parade, costume contest and others.

It will be held on Sunday, October 28 this year from 02:30PM until 04:00PM in the afternoon.
