It is “Ber” months already, it means it’s Christmas Season, are your Christmas Lights and Christmas Trees are ready? In Japan, they also prepare in this season by not buying gifts but by lighting thousands of colorful LED lights along street trees and other places, so we are giving the Best Winter Illumination Spots in Tokyo.
The Caretta Shiodome hosts a large of LED lights. Last year, the show features 250,000 LED lights and it’s accompanied with music. This year, we are looking forward for a beautiful show also.

2. Marunouchi Ginza
Marunouchi Illumination is one of the longest-running winter illumination in Tokyo. Every year from late November until mid February, the trees along the Marunouchi area’s Naka Dori are covered and lightens by Christmas lights. This is the 17th year that it will be shown, it will be held on early November to mid February.

3. Tokyo Dome City
Tokyo Dome City’s theme for this year’s winter illumination is “sweets”. There will be more or less 2,000,000 LED lights that will illuminate the area. It will run for three months staring the early of November 2018 until the mid February 2019.

4. Roponggi Hills
Roponggi Hills is one of the most popular spots for couples every year in the season of winter because the trees are decorated with blue LED lights.

5. Tokyo Midtown

6. Nakameguro Jewel Dome
Also known as the “Golden Dome” as it is illuminated by yellow LED lights which turns it into like gold color. The illumination is located the Meguro River and it is near the Nakameguro Station.

7. Shibuya Blue Cave
Ao no Dokutsu started in the year 2014 with the name, “Nakameguro Ao no Dokutsu”. Last year, the event was in Shibuya. It turned the Shibuya Park Street to Yoyogi Park Zelkova Street blue in color because of the thousands of Blue LED lights.
